I’m proud to support Nevada Dems
Elizabeth Warren here. I’m taking over Catherine’s Substack to tell you about the wonderful day I just spent with her and Nevada Democrats.

Catherine is a friend and colleague, and I am incredibly proud of the work we have accomplished together in the Senate – from holding big banks accountable and fighting for working families to passing the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act this summer.
That’s actually how we started the day, with a roundtable discussion focused on affordable housing. We talked about the ROAD to Housing Act and how it brings housing costs down, expands access to homeownership and stops private equity executives from hoarding homes that should be owned and lived in by families. I also got to meet some wonderful Nevadans benefiting from affordable housing investments right now.
Passing the first major housing bill in more than 30 years was a big step forward for Nevadans and folks across the country, but we still have so much to do. By electing Democrats up and down the ballot this fall, we can ensure this legislation is properly funded and implemented – and that we can get right to work on even more progress to help Americans get ahead.

Next, I joined Aaron Ford, Nevada’s current attorney general and Democratic candidate for governor, at a rally supporting reproductive rights. Catherine and I were both in the Senate when the Dobbs decision came down in 2022 and have watched closely as Republican-led states across the country enacted cruel and even deadly abortion bans.
When Democrats control Congress, we can and will fight to pass federal legislation that protects abortion access nationwide. But we can protect these rights at the state level this year too, by electing Aaron Ford and other Democrats who will fight for abortion rights and by supporting the amendment to enshrine the right to choose in Nevada’s Constitution.

I closed out the day with Catherine and Nevada Democrats at a “Brews and Views” event, where we reflected on everything we’re fighting for: affordable housing and healthcare, reproductive rights, corporate and government accountability and putting working people first.
I was reminded again and again that folks are fed up with Trump’s corruption and chaos and ready to fight for change. And what’s more, we have incredible candidates running for office who will work around the clock to improve the lives of working families.
With leaders like Catherine, Aaron and other Democrats running up and down the ballot in Nevada, I know we can win big this fall, stop Donald Trump’s agenda in its tracks and make real progress. I’m going to fight my heart out to help Democrats win across the country, but this movement runs on grassroots supporters like you. If you believe in the future we’re fighting for, please consider splitting a donation between me, Nevada Democrats and Catherine to join us.
Thanks for reading about my day in Nevada! I’ll leave you with something Catherine says often that always fires me up:
¡La lucha sigue! The fight continues!
Thanks for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
